Request deletion
Email josie@beautifullyknown.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. Include the name and email used for an inquiry or booking, or the username of the connected Instagram account, and describe which information you want removed. Please do not send passwords, access tokens, payment-card numbers, or identity documents.
Josie will review the request manually and may ask you to verify ownership using the contact information already on file. Deletion is not automatic when you send the email. We will explain any records that must be retained for an active appointment or legal obligation and confirm the outcome of the request.
Disconnect connected accounts
Studio administrators can open Admin → Connections and choose Disconnect Google Calendar or Disconnect Instagram. This removes the saved connection tokens from the website. Disconnecting Instagram also removes the locally cached posts. It stops further access through that connection, but does not delete existing appointment records.
You can also remove Beautifully Known’s access in your Google Account’s third-party connections settings or Instagram’s app and website permissions settings. Revoking access there stops authorization but does not automatically erase records already stored by the website.
What deletion covers
A request can cover inquiry details, appointment information where it is no longer needed, or locally saved Google Calendar or Instagram connection data. Website deletion does not delete original Instagram posts, your Google account, or your Instagram account. Existing events in Google Calendar must be handled separately by the calendar owner. Email copies, hosting logs, and backups follow their respective retention practices.
